About

Pocket Verdict started as a group chat where a few of us kept swapping screenshots of games we liked. Eventually we got tired of pasting the same notes over and over, so we turned it into a proper site. Nothing fancy behind it — just people who play a lot and want to save others some wasted downloads.

We cover every genre because our taste is all over the place. One editor lives inside strategy games for weeks, another finishes a story RPG in a weekend, and someone always has a puzzle or arcade game running during their commute. That range is the whole point.

Games get picked the simple way: we install them, play far enough to form a real opinion, and only then decide if they're worth a full review. We don't chase whatever is trending unless it genuinely holds up. If something bores us in an hour, we say so.

Everything you read here is written after real play sessions, not from a press sheet. When we're unsure about something, we tell you that too.

Markus Feldmann — Markus has been reviewing mobile games since the early touchscreen days and still keeps three phones charged for testing. He leans toward strategy and puzzle titles but will try anything once.
